Skilled Nursing Facility Administrators

As a skilled nursing facility administrator, you’re concerned with providing the highest quality care to your patients and residents in a way that is compassionate, skillful, and cost-effective.

Servicing nursing home patients and residents is our primary business. Whether we’re providing services under PPS or billed direct to the patient’s insurance, we remove the administrative burden associated with sourcing, placing, and billing for all of the products and services that we provide.

Here are two examples of how we will work with you.

Example 1- Medicaid patient with two Stage II pressure sores in the sacral area (Needs Specialty Air Mattress)

Once we receive your written order from the caring physician or nurse practitioner for a specialty mattress, we take over delivery, on-site setup, and billing direct to patient’s insurance (Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Evercare). Once we receive notification that the mattress is no longer needed, we discontinue billing and arrange for pick up. In almost all cases your order will be in house on the same day that we receive notification.

Example 2- PPS patient diagnosed with diabetes and a Stage II ulcer on the leg and trunk (Needs Specialty Air Mattress)

In these consolidated billing cases, we understand that your cost to provide care is a primary concern. By outsourcing these specialty product needs to us, we fix these costs at a low and predictable level so that your nursing staff can coordinate other aspects of patient care.

Bottom line -- We supply specialty air mattresses that fit into any cost structure.

Eligibility Criteria

• Two or more Stage 2 pressure sores on the trunk or pelvis
• - or -
• One or more Stage 3 or Stage 4 pressure sores on the trunk or pelvis

Here is what we need for delivery and billing: (confidential fax 866-231-5901)

• Patient Face Sheet
• Written order (from physician or NP) specifying the need for a Group 2 Air Mattress System
• Signed and completed copy of Document of Medical Need. Complete Sections 1 through 6. (Medicare Document of Medical Need)
• Copy of recent wound assessments (staging, measurements), if available
• Copy of most recent nutrition report, if available

These documents should be faxed to 1-866-231-5901 to complete order. Note: that all medical insurance billing is done by our office staff to insurance providers directly, with no need for your facility to bill on patient's behalf.

Home Care Agencies

When working with home care agencies, we become an outsourced member of your delivery team. In doing so, we free your care givers to focus on the most important thing-- care of the patient. Because we handle all administration and billing for our products, we eliminate the time and costs associated with arranging for this very important aspect of care.

Our products require that a hospital bed be placed in the home. In most cases, we can help to arrange for bed delivery and setup.

Once an air mattress is determined to be medically necessary (see ‘Eligibility Criteria’ below) we coordinate delivery and setup, either to your agency or direct to the patient’s home.
